Let dad wear his favorite cap in a few shots.

Blue jeans (med blue color look best) with light tops, printed tops, sweaters  all look good. Fisherman's sweaters look fabulous. Also kacki pants and light tops. Wear med to dark colored clothing if you are getting a partial color shoot. White or cream colors will not work with color, only BW.

For Xmas photo all wearing cream clothing looks great with the winter scene backdrop.

Special Instructions for all shoots.

Please don't bring your children while they have the flu, for the whole duration of it being contagious. Flu info here

If you are having a digital shoot, don't wear white or anything lighter then med grey or beige (light tan).

Please don't have high expectations of my work if your children are at the age when they can't or won't take your instruction during a shoot.

You are very welcome to bring your own special ideas and props. You may even bring  chairs or other small furniture . If you see a neat pose that you like in a magazine, bring it. It may or may not work, it's fun to try!

Small bruises/scratches on a child's  face can be covered. I supply cover stick. If they get a serious bruise on their face, please cancel shoot till a further date.

If your children have special talents such as dance, music etc, please bring their dance wear, musical instruments.

If mom or dad have jobs with unusual work clothes like fireman, cowboy, carpenter, etc..........please bring the work clothes/tools for props. Children can wear them, sit by them, or hug them. If you are not sure something will work, please bring it anyway! It may turn out to be one of your favorite shots.

When bringing jean clothing, the medium blue color looks the very best in photos. Dark jeans look almost black, and faded ones look almost white. These colors will work of course but if you want the photos to look artistic, try to have everyone in the photo wear the same shade of blue jean.

Never wear shiny face powder. Shiny makeup will make you look like you are perspiring and bring out those character lines. Add some new flat face powder when you get to the studio. This makes a difference, you will look younger in the photographs.
