Update on Grab Your Camera: July 2008

With the recent popularity of digital cameras, babies are well-photographed. However, most parents and grandparents are novice photographers who, unaware of how simple, inexpensive and gratifying it is to capture precious baby moments in beautiful art photos, churn out poorly composed snapshots.  Grab Your Camera will change all this!  As an easy-to-follow guide book, Grab Your Camera will show readers how to create their own dramatic black and white art photos of their own babies (newborn to one year of age) in their own homes.  Even the most inexperienced user will be able to learn how to compose impressive, artistic photos using point-and-shoot digital cameras, simple lighting systems and inexpensive props.  With Grab Your Camera in hand, aspiring photographers will dramatically improve their technical and creative skills, and be instantly rewarded with images that truly capture the beauty and miracle that is their most precious little child. 

 

We are nearing completion of this beautiful and helpful book.  After much research, we have decided to control the business of our book by self publishing. Grab Your Camera  will be purchased through it's own website. One will also be able to order it through Amazon.com. We hope to have it ready for sales in early 2009. 

 

July  2008:    I do not need more  models for the book, but you are very welcome to send images and info on your children for future need of models.

 

What a model release means when you sign one with me:

 It simply means that for my lifetime I can use my image with your horse, self, or child for any lawful purpose. Some of these possibilities are: The books I plan to publish, business cards, CD  covers, my business website where I display my work for clients and potential clients, stock images, calendars, advertising, or any other similar purpose.
